Advertisements (very long rant)

I am so angry right now.
Here's my story:
Today it is Thursday and I was sick. So I thought, "I'll try to feel better and go to school tomorrow!"
It's almost time for me to go to bed at a decent time, and I read FaceBook.
A ton of kids are talking about how we have no school tomorrow. So I'm like, "SWEET! F YES!!!" and am now instantly happy because I no longer need to go to bed early and drag my sick body through school tomorrow....

But if only I knew that SOMETHING just had to ruin my night...

I was watching one of my favorite internet video makers. You may have heard of him. He's known as the Nostalgia Critic. He reviews bad movies that were made in the 90's and back. Nothing modern.
He posted a new video I hadn't seen and thought, "Sweet! New NC video!".
I start the video and, of course, an advertisement pops up. One of those ads that are a small rectangle in the bottom portion of the video. No big deal. I click it's X button and resume watching. About 5 minutes later, a huge, gigantic, half screen sized advertisement devours the screen. Literally, from the very bottom of the video to the middle point, and from left to right as far as my screen is wide, an advertisement pops up. I was like, "What in the f&%#?!!". I (angrily) exit the ad, and continue watching. About 5 minutes later, THE SAME THING HAPPENS!

It does this 5 more times throughout the video...

Not only that, but I am watching a video about old crappy movies that a guy mocks and makes fun of in a hilarious way.... The ads were advertising.... sigh.... bras.
Yeah, because you know, that's what EVERYONE there is wanting...

I could go on, and on, and on FOREVER about how much advertisements are beginning to ruin good videos and YouTube. They're getting worse every week it seems.

So I have a few questions:
Whats the worst advertisement you ever saw?
Whats the most obnoxious advertisement you ever saw?
On a scale from 1-10 (10 being extremely) how angry do ads make you?

I don't look at the ads before I close them.

And I think they make me a 5-6 on the angry scale. Stupid ads popping up everywhere. Pfft.

The worst ad I ever saw, I was cruising for some "legal" downloads, and I found a torrent for a movie. Kapow, click the link. Naked girls plastered all over the site. Scroll down. and, you guessed it, gay porn.

Guess who decided to walk in right then? My father. The one that doesn't appreciate porn. (He covers the families eyes every time we walk past Victoria's Secret)

I was like OHSHI--- and I tried to click the x, but I was freaking out too much, so right before he got in range of sight, I clicked the new tab button and brought up this site.


Ads usually don't bother me, but when they start chasing me like 40 year old women after Taylor Lautner, then they start to piss me off. Probably a 2 for sill ads and a 6 for pop ups.

I hate when adds show up, but I've never looked at them. I just click the X.

I'd rate probably a 7 because it annoys me to click the X in the corner often.

Anyone else hate megavidio? Attempting to play a vid opens an ad and it gives you a limit for how long you can watch ,I was in the middle of a two hour movie and it tells me iv watched to much so I use a diff player... That dosn't let me skip forwards FFFUUUUUUUU , 10 for everything but funny ads on tv

Omg Ultiment-guitar is horrible when it comes to adds. Some days I try to search a guitar tab and a stupid advertisement pops up and it won't let me click out of it sometimes. So I have to try to reload the page and hurry up and click the search box before the add comes up. WHY CAN'T MY POPUP BLOCKER BLOCK THIS S*IT??!

loljk, I find advertisements no big deal, cuz people need to make money. And if they want to continue making money they wont make their media too advertisement ridden, because nobody will watch it. It's all about balance.
