CGI is sh*t

Okay so maybe CGI can work in some cases, but these days CGI is in almost every movie with action sequences. Movies just don't feel as artsy as they used to be. Sometimes it just ruins it for me if the animation is not convincing at all, for instance: Look at any action scene from the "Spiderman" trilogy, the penguins in the upcomming movie "Mr. Popplers Penguins" look completely fake, Dobby in "Harry Potter", nuff said.
I like CGI in some movies, like "Hulk", and "Watchmen", I just believe that it is overused now.

CGI is what makes movies these days. It's freaking awesome...in most cases. I do agree with you on the mr. Poppers penguins one though. But hey, do you really expect them to be able to train REAL penguins though? Well, just take that into consideration. I see where you're coming from though.

golem is amazing, doby isnt ment to look real but his movements are realistic cgi is quite amazing when you see what it can do

I don't think you should CGI anything your audience has seen before. You just can't compare reality to a fake computer image. However, in the case of, say, Golem, I'd say go ahead. Some of the worst CGI I've ever seen though was in X-men origins: Wolverine. His claws look terrible half the movie.

I don't know what cgi is that much, but I like the newer movie graphics!!!

I don't think it sucks, I just wish it would be used a tiny bit less. I want some epic makeup and structures made instead of everything always being animated. They used to use things like puppets in the old star wars movies. I should of made the title of this different.

they also used childern and dwarfs in starwars

I would definitely rather see a movie like the original one with suits. I can't feel a connection to something that is animated.

that cgi looks good i love cgi it means we can show thiings that we otherwise couldnt (you cant get real expresion in a monkey mask) it brings the best in movies in my opinon
