The right to bare arms?

Post by Soylent Blue on Wed Aug 10, 2011 3:17 pm

You will probably disagree with me but I say not. I hate to hear a news story where a kid was showing their friend a gun and it goes off by mistake, which has happened more than once. I myself hate guns, they are very intimidating. I also hate hunting, but I suppose you can call me a hypocrite because i'm not a vegetarian. So should we have the right to bare arms?

nope they are murder weapons, hunting is different from slaughter because in a hunt an animal may get away with a bullet lodged in them but not die imidietaly but later because of infection or blood loss this causes the animal much pain whereas slaughter is quick and painless

sock it protects you from people with guns and if they didn't have guns you wouldn't need guns

Illegal or not people are gonna own guns. Including people that defiantly shouldn't own them.

If it's illegal, the only people that are going to have them will be the bad guys. I don't know about you, but I'm much more comfortable with the 9 I keep under my pillow than the throwing knives I keep in my headboard.

Brian: So how's the weaning going?

Stewie: Oh it's HORRIBLE, giving up breast milk is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I bet the founding fathers had an easier time writing the Bill of Rights.

Jefferson: Alright we're done.

Washington: You think the language in the second amendment is clear enough? You know, the one about the Right to Bear Arms?

Jefferson: Of course it's clear! Every American has the right to hang a pair of bear arms on their wall.

Jefferson: How could that possibly be misconstrued?

Washington: Alright fantastic then.

if they are illegal they are much harder to get school shooting? would never happen makes things more manageable(i would prefer a world without guns but we all know that isnt going to happen)

I think that guns should be legal, but parents should actually take serious measures to keep them away from children. A gun cabinet and gun locks (I have a couple) are good safety measures, making it impossible for a child to even load the weapon.
