Abortion!

so i was wondering what this general forum's opinion of abortion is. I personally don't have a problem or care. (Hoorah! apathy!)
Stem cell research IS something I care about though. It has the potential to help cure thousands of diseases, and physical disorders. we could try animal stem cells but it proves to be rather fruitless and expensive. :1 so yeah what you think?

Hun, there've been like 2 other topics about abortion now I think.
And I think abortion should be allowed.

I understand people wanting abortion, a child really could destroy someone's life. but whether or not to get one i think depends on the situation the person is currently in, like if they're not financially able to support a child or what not.

urmm, theyre killing a person its not right.

i think the only time its okay is if theyve been raped.

I never have an acual opinion on abortion. It's pretty wrong but can also be good in situations.

I don't believe in nor disbelieve in abortion. I just believe that it should be the parents decision, not ours.

I find two holes in this argument. (Nothing against you, but I hear the same argument a lot)

1. If you are eating a chicken egg, it is unfertilized, and therefore was never alive in the first place.

2. We kill animals all the time. We eat them. We do not kill humans to eat.

It is morally wrong to kill a human. Why then is it morally right to kill a helpless human?

When a woman is in the early stages of pregnancy, the child inside has no emotions, it has no true life to live yet, it can't be upset that it's parent will kill it, it really has no brain. Sure, it can live a long and happy life, but it also can live a sad and awfuly poor life because the parents can hardly afford themselfs. And you CAN put it up for adoption, but if that went for all the abortions, adoption places would be extreemly full. And what about rape victims. Should a woman who has been raped have to go through 9 months carrying the baby with all the pain that it takes, and have to go through horrid labor just to keep that baby alive? And what if the rape victim was a yongu girl? At 10 your good old friend SOCK, could have been raped and empregnated. Should a 10 year old have to carry a baby? Should a 10 year old have to go through mother f*ckin labor? No, I don't think so.
if the baby is around 6 or 7 months old, they shouldn't have an abortion, but if the baby is barely alive, go ahead and have an abortion I think.

I don't think you can even get pregnant at 10 years old.

I can find 2 flaws in your argument

1. Very occasionally a chicken egg can be fertilised and you still eat it

2. Humans are animals too, and it is morally wrong to kill humans in your opinion, not neccesselry anyone elses. In the early stages, a baby is just a bunch of cells, and even after birth, a human is still just a bunch of insignificant cells
